Until now, I have only done hand embroidery in Hebrew script letters, because their rounded shapes fit my overlapping forward stitches better. Every once in a while I am asked for print letters, and in those cases I have sent the work out to a machine embroiderer. That was not a perfect choice for me, though, because then I didn't feel that the tallit was all "mine".
I have now found a font whose simple and rounded shapes I can stitch, with one caveat: The print lettering is available only on a light background. I draw the script letters freehand and can use a light marker on a dark fabric. The print letters, however, need to be more uniform, and I have to trace them on a light box. That only works with light-colored fabrics.
I design and sew custom tallitot (prayer shawls) and look forward to creating one for you. Write to me at info@customtallit.com about custom designs and about shipping to countries other than the US. Visit http://customtallit.com/ for more information.

Cotton Tallit to Take to Camp
Two simple all-cotton tallitot - both sturdy enough to take to camp, yet pretty enough to wear to synagogue. The simple design and lack of embroidery keep the prices low.
The blue and white for the traditional look; the red and black for a little flair.
These are now sold, but I can make similar ones.

Moss Green, Charcoal, Pink, and Lavender
This tallit set started with the kippah. I was intrigued by a yarn that shifted from soft moss green through charcoal and pink to lavender and created a whimsical design as I crocheted the kippah. When I realized that I had acquired all the same colors in dupioni silk, I decided to make a tallit and bag to match. I also crocheted a strip to create the atarah.
This one is now sold, but I can make a similar one, except without the crochet kippah and atarah. I don't have that yarn any longer.

Forest Green and Dark Gold
This is a tallit for a nature lover. Dark forest green and dark gold shantung silk on off-white dupioni makes you feel that you are taking a peaceful walk in the woods.
I embroidered the tallit blessing by hand on the atarah, and I am making a black cotton bag highlighted by the same green and gold.
This one is now for sale in my Etsy Shop.
